City Chic

Hi readers, sorry I went awol. I was just busy traveling and soaking in the sun AND the rain in this bipolar Sydney weather. In case you were wondering, I am having a fabulous time here in Sydney. The Hilton here is located in the middle of a shopping mall which is a blessing and a curse. All you ladies can imagine why. Its right across the St from the Sky Tower so theres a lot of foot traffic but I am loving every minute. Feels just like home. So I decided that todays post will be street style city chic! Enjoy!
I matched my leather pants with ankle boots to elongates my legs. I am also wearing a simple white t and layered it with a detailed blazer. To add a splash of color, I decided to go w my YSL cross body bag.

One of my favorite items that pull together an outfit are blazers. I normally don’t go for the boxy/corporate looking ones. You know, the ones that make you look like you’re going to work. I like the colors, patterns and weird cuts that stand out.

Personally, blazers without lapels looks best on my body type and looks less official. And to break away from the whole uniform look, I matched it with leather pants. ✌🏻️

Most of my life was spent in a metropolitan area so I would say this type of city chic style represents me the most.

One of my most beloved item in my closed is undoubtedly this leather pants from @jbrand. It stretches just a bit to hug my thighs but remains substantial, sturdy and most importantly wrinkle free.
